Every year State bank of India (SBI) invites applications for SBI Clerk Exam. Generally notification comes in MayJune & examination held in JulyAugust. For SBI Clerk examination aspirants must have a degree from any recognized university. But those candidates who obtained their degree from Distance learning or through correspondence are not eligible for the SBI Clerk Exam. Age limit for SBI Clerk exam is 21 to 28 years.(for general category).Reserve category candidates get age relaxation.. If a candidate qualify in SBI Clerk written exam, heshe will be called for interview in the 1:3 ratio. Once candidate get selected, they appoint as Assistants for the period of three years.
